Here is a list of sample techniques to give you some
ideas. This list is very limited. The number of
combinations possible is immense. If you have a
combination or set piece which you think is particularly
good then please contact us at the following address:
autc@taekwondo.freeserve.co.uk.
As you progress in Taekwon-Do you are expected to create
your own combinations and not simply rely on a few basic
techniques or those provided by others - this is part of
your training - by developing your own versions you will
achieve a greater understanding of what you are actually
doing.

The attacker signals that he is ready by shouting Ja,
once the defender signals that they are ready by shouting
Ja, then the attacker may begin. The defender then
blocks, dodges and counters. One Step Sparring is one of
the main goals of Taekwon-Do, if you can perform one step
sparring well against any partner then you can defend
yourself against most people. One Step makes you practice
defending against an unknown attack - instantly.
